Our mission is to effectively share the catastrophic effects and importance of the fall that took place in the Garden of Eden and how the fall relates to man and man's immediate need for the Savior.
We aim to direct those seeking sound, biblical information with established biblical teachers and evangelists. We strive to inform all of the basics of salvation in a way that empowers them accept and boldly share the Gospel with others.
"I choose to believe in the Bible because it is a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They report supernatural events that took place in fulfilment of specific prophecies and claimed that their writings are divine rather than human in origin." ~Voddie Baucham
The Bible is God’s unique revelation to mankind, the inspired, infallible Word of God. As such, it is the supreme and final authority and without error in what it teaches and affirms. No other writings are vested with such divine authority.
There is only one true God. He exists eternally as three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each fully God yet each personally distinct from the other. God is the creator of everything.
Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He was God in human flesh. He lived a sinless human life, yet willingly took upon himself our sins by dying in our place and on our behalf. He rose bodily, victorious over death. He ascended to Heaven and is at the right hand of the Father as the believer’s advocate and mediator. Some day, he will return to consummate history and to fulfill the eternal plan of God.
The Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, convicts the world of sin and gives new life to those who trust in Jesus. He indwells all believers and is available to empower them to lead Christ-like lives. The Spirit gives them spiritual gifts with which to serve fellow believers and reach out to a lost and needy world.
The Doctrine of Imputed Sin or the Original Sin is the disobedient act of Adam in the Eden. This one act was imputed to and caused death upon the entire human family. Every person born since, inherited the sin of Adam & Eve.
This doctrine of total depravity is an acknowledgement that is taught clearly in the bible. This doctrine teaches that as a result of the fall of man- every part of man—his mind, will, emotions and flesh—have been corrupted by sin.
Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day. ~Psalm 25:5
Have you ever experienced what it is like for God to have your back? That is an awesome thing. But too many people never get to experience that because they refuse to put Him first. This is His kingdom and He is the rightful King--putting Him any place other than first is foolishness.
Keep in mind we are to seek His "kingdom" and His righteousness." Kingdom simply means His authoritative rule along with the visible demonstration of it comprehensively in every area of life. Righteousness is the standard God requires for people to be rightly related to Him. It includes abiding by the governing guidelines He has set as the King, and humbly aligning yourself underneath the blood of Jesus Christ.
Righteousness, simply defined, is God's standard for living life. His kingdom and His righteousness are to be what each of us seeks first. Without them, we are wandering aimlessly around without the support and backing of our King.
In baseball, if you miss first base, it doesn't matter what else you do. If you have run past first base without touching it, it means nothing that you touch second, third, or home plate. It doesn't matter that everyone in the stands is cheering for you or congratulating you when you cross home. Because you miss first base, then nothing after that even counts.
In kingdom-living, if you fail to seek God's kingdom and His righteousness first, all else is for naught simply because He has established His rightful place as first; without it, you are on your own.
REFLECTION: How is failure to put God first like missing first base? Why is it necessary to seek God's kingdom first? What does it mean to seek His righteousness? Ask God to help you keep Him first place in your life.
God, I don't want to be on my own. I want You to have You rightful place in my life. I want Your kingdom and Your righteousness to be my driving force and greatest passion.
~Life Under God: The Kingdom Agenda (page 85) by Tony Evans
We believe that the Doctrines of Imputed Sin and the Total Depravity of Man are the foundational points to understanding the need for Salvation. Combined, they are equivalent to missing first base! Without this knowledge, people are incapable of understanding why they need to be saved.
