august is here!

It's August, the eighth month of the year. As we're sure you know, 8 is a significant number, representing "new beginnings". Since 8 comes after 7, the number of completeness signifying an end to something, it implies 8 is associated with the beginning of a new era or that of a new order.  Here at the Garden of Eden & You Ministry we are going to use this month of new beginnings to pray over our families, individual communities and our world as a whole. We're praying for new beginnings for those we hold dear and the those dear to God.

So many times our current situations, past mistakes and the lives of our family members, keep us in a perpetual state of defeat and hopelessness. We feel small and powerless to change anything and thus limit God in His ability to enact real change in our lives and the lives of those around us. It's a shame because the one, true and living God is all powerful and is always working for us.  Romans 8:28 states,  "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." 

Stop limiting God and start allowing Him to work through you and with you to change our individual lives and the lives our family members.  We all have unsaved family members and many of whose spiritual state is unknown. Join us as we pray for God to grant our loved ones mercy, grace and a chance for repentance. Let's spend every day this month praying for our loved ones to have "ears that hear and eyes that see".
